EXACT 3D DESIGN / ENGINEERING CONSULTATION

Start with the problem. We will explore the solution.

Bring the sketch, the broken part, or the difficult requirement. We can develop the design, test the idea, and help bring the solution into production.

Engineering consultation & collaborative development

Not just a drawing. A solution you can make.

Exploded mechanical retractor assembly designed by EX3D
Designed for the real world

A good design considers how every piece fits, fastens, functions and gets manufactured.

From a simple sketch to a complex assembly, we collaborate on the practical path forward—and prefer to stay involved through prototyping and production.

01 / UNDERSTANDDefine the problem and what success looks like.
02 / DESIGNDevelop geometry, materials and assembly.
03 / TESTPrototype, check fit and refine where needed.
04 / DELIVERMake the part or coordinate the right production process.

ENGINEERING IN PRACTICE

A practical starting point

Sometimes you know exactly what you need. Other times you have a broken component, an idea, or a performance requirement and need help deciding what comes next.

Understand the application

What does it need to do? What loads, temperatures, environments, or dimensional constraints matter?

Evaluate the options

Compare repair, redesign, reverse engineering, prototyping, and potential manufacturing methods.

Define a sensible path

Establish a workable next step, from one small part to a more involved design and production project.

ENGINEERING IN PRACTICE

Not limited to one process

In-house FFF manufacturing is one option, but CNC, sheet metal, thermoforming, resin and powder-bed printing, or outsourced production may be a better fit. We can evaluate the requirements and coordinate an appropriate route when feasible.

ENGINEERING IN PRACTICE

Small projects welcome

An obsolete replacement component, a personal project, a prototype, or a custom gift deserves a thoughtful conversation just as much as a commercial assignment.

Let’s talk about what you need.

Bring a drawing, a sample part, or simply an explanation of the problem. We can discuss a practical next step.
